About the presenter:
Cátia Kossovsky is a member of Tucker Arensberg’s Business and Finance Group and assists clients in growing their business through capital investments. She focuses her practice in the areas of securities, corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital financing, commercial finance, investment management and medical marijuana law. She also advises clients on governance, disclosure, and compliance in those areas.
Prior to joining the firm, Cátia practiced at several large multinational and national law firms and was in-house counsel to a Private Equity Firm. She represents entrepreneurs, private equity, venture capital and hedge fund clients, financial institutions and general corporate clients. Cátia has international experience working with Latin American companies in Brazil, Argentina and Mexico and is fluent in Brazilian Portuguese, English and Spanish.
Cátia holds a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law and a B.B.A. from Baruch College. She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Cátia is avidly involved in the Pittsburgh community as part of various associations and committees and sits on the board of a local community newspaper.
